When watching the Quaratine trailer it gave us a thrill and resulted in the whole group wanting to watch the film as the end shoot of the girl getting dragged was exciting and done what a thriller is meant to do: have you on the edge of your seat.
The effectiveness of this ending was clear as it made us jump because of the high pitched screen and intense nature of the shot. The clip of the woman being dragged gave the audience the emotion of fear as the setting was dark.
This shoot demonstrates the emtional trama in which someone who is normal like the audience is going through and how when in this situation fear takes over.
