Music Inspiration

Music is vital for any film in order to help build up emotion in the audience as well as to help the audience decide the genre of the film. We had decided on a thriller genre and the music linking with this is to create a sound bridge for invoking an atmosphere.
There should be stages in the trailer where the music is quiet and suttle in order to constrast the loud, fast past and intense sections. When dramatic footage is shown this is when the music should build and lastly at the very end the music should either fade out to add suspense or come to a sudden end to shock the audience.

Inspiration for music in our trailer came from Woman in Black at 50 seconds - 1minute 10 seconds and from the music by E.S. Posthemus - Unstoppable track. This track at 2.03 - 2.40 showed intensity and for me sd it showed a good build up to give off emotion.
In our trailer the intense moment of soundtrack was roughly at 2 minutes 35seconds. This was the part that there was visual hype and thrill in the trailer which matched the music.
